01 Who We Are
GrowYaara is India's first Mobile Retail Operating System, built exclusively for Indian mobile phone retailers — including single-brand showrooms, multi-brand stores, accessories retailers, electronics shops, and regional mobile distributor chains.
GrowYaara is operated by TrenzyRange, a company incorporated in India. When you use the GrowYaara Android application or visit our website at growyaara.com, we act as the data controller responsible for your personal information.
We built GrowYaara for Indian retailers, which means we understand the trust you place in us when you share your store data, customer information, inventory records, and financial figures. We treat all of it with the same seriousness you treat your business.
02 Data We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information we collect automatically when you use the app, and information we may receive from third-party integrations you connect.

- IP address and approximate location — for fraud prevention and analytics
- Push notification interaction data — whether you open or dismiss alerts

- Tally or Busy accounting data synced through our integration layer
- WhatsApp Business API delivery and read receipts for campaigns you send
- Google Business Profile data if you connect your store listing
03 How We Use Your Data
Every piece of data we collect serves a specific, legitimate purpose for running and improving GrowYaara. We do not use your data for advertising on third-party platforms and we do not sell it.

Our AI growth engine analyses your store's own data — sales history, stock movement, and customer behaviour — to generate predictions and recommendations. Your store data is never shared with other retailers. AI insights are generated at an individual store level and remain private to your account.
04 IMEI Inventory Data
IMEI numbers are the backbone of GrowYaara. We treat IMEI data with particular care because they directly identify individual mobile devices and are tied to your business's financial records and brand cashback claims.
How We Handle IMEI Data
- IMEI numbers you enter are stored encrypted in our secure cloud database
- They are used only for inventory tracking, billing linkage, and cashback eligibility matching
- IMEI data is never shared with third parties except the specific brand whose scheme you are claiming
- When you delete a product record, associated IMEI data is also deleted within 30 days
- We do not use IMEI data for any form of device tracking or consumer surveillance
When you submit a cashback claim through GrowYaara, the relevant IMEI numbers and sales data are formatted and shared with the specific mobile brand (e.g., Samsung, Vivo, OPPO, Realme) as required by their scheme terms. This is done only when you initiate the claim. We do not proactively share IMEI data with brands.
05 Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not trade it. The only situations in which your data is shared with anyone outside GrowYaara are described below.
Service Providers We Work With
- Cloud hosting — Our servers run on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the Mumbai region. Your data stays in India.
- WhatsApp Business API — Meta's platform is used to deliver campaigns you create and approve. Only the recipient's number and message content are sent.
- SMS gateway — Used to send OTP and transactional alerts. Only your mobile number is passed.
- Push notification service — Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers app notifications. No store or financial data is included.
- Analytics — We use anonymised, aggregated analytics to understand app performance. No individual store data is identifiable.
- Payment gateway — If you upgrade to a paid plan, your payment is processed by a PCI-DSS compliant gateway. We never store your card details.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your data if required by Indian law, a court order, or a valid request from a government authority. We will notify you of such requests where we are legally permitted to do so.
Business Transfers
If GrowYaara is acquired, merged, or undergoes a corporate restructuring, your data may be transferred to the new entity. We will notify you via email and in-app notice at least 30 days before such a transfer occurs.
06 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

07 Security
We apply industry-standard security measures across the GrowYaara platform to protect your store data, customer records, and financial information.
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
- All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- IMEI numbers and customer financial data are additionally hashed in storage
- Access to production data is limited to authorised GrowYaara engineers with role-based access controls
- We conduct regular security audits and penetration tests
- Staff accounts use multi-factor authentication for any access to customer data systems
- The app uses PIN / biometric protection options so your store data stays secure on device
If you discover a vulnerability in GrowYaara, please report it to security@growyaara.com. We investigate all reports seriously and respond within 48 hours.
08 Your Rights
As a GrowYaara user, you have meaningful control over your data. You can exercise these rights at any time by contacting us or using the in-app data management tools.
Request a full export of all data GrowYaara holds about your store and account.
Update or correct any inaccurate store, staff, or business information at any time.
Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will process this within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Export your inventory, customer records, sales data, and cashback history in standard formats (CSV, Excel) at any time.
Ask us to pause processing your data while a dispute is being resolved.
09 Children's Privacy
GrowYaara is a business application designed exclusively for adults who operate or work in retail stores. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
If we become aware that a person under 18 has created an account or provided personal information, we will promptly delete that information and close the account. Please contact us at hi@growyaara.com if you believe this has occurred.
11 Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as GrowYaara's features evolve or as legal requirements change. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Display a prominent notice inside the GrowYaara app at least 14 days before changes take effect
- Send a notification to your registered mobile number and email address
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, ask for your renewed consent where required by law
Continued use of GrowYaara after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
